CannaCare
CannaCare emerges in a time when cannabis is becoming increasingly legalized and accepted, yet standardization and safety metrics remain underdeveloped. The project focuses on developing a tool to measure THC tolerance, which is essential for both personal and professional use of cannabis. CannaCare aims to support the federalization of cannabis and contribute to its normalization in society by promoting safe consumption practices.
The lack of reliable tools for measuring cannabis impairment presents challenges for law enforcement, medical practitioners, and cannabis consumers who need a dependable way to assess THC levels. The main objective was to design a product that can quickly and accurately detect cannabis in the body, similar to an alcohol breathalyzer, to promote responsible usage and assist in legal and medical contexts.
Based off my brand strategy project, I created a product book for this new product. CannaCare provides a solution with a prototype of a THC breathalyzer, enabling real-time assessment of cannabis intake. This innovative device offers users insights into their THC levels, fostering safer consumption. The breathalyzer concept serves as a standard tool for various sectors, including law enforcement (for assessing impairment), healthcare (for monitoring therapeutic use), and cannabis retail (for responsible selling). By introducing a reliable and practical THC measuring device, CannaCare supports the movement toward the federalization and de-stigmatization of cannabis use, positioning itself as a critical resource in the evolving cannabis landscape.
